iOS logging in issues

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but if I close the game to check messages or anything I then go back to the game and it won’t work again until I have closed the game completely and restart from scratch. Never had this issue before. Usually can just re log in and up it comes. Now when I press it it just sits there with a spinning wheel. Won’t actually log back in till full close.
