Question on kingpin?

I’m not sure if this is correct or not but help see the light…. So I’m fighting kingpin in legendary side quest and he was able to unblockable, unstoppable and indestructible on his dash attack back to back to back to back. Not sure if that’s the AI cheating or can he do that? And no I didn’t even get a chance to to really hit him so so the global node indestructible should not have kicked in….
