Is the game reading your inputs?

Just like the title says.

Is the game reading your inputs? Not your characters actions. But you fingers inputs on the device screen.

Test yourself: in a couple ways

1) input at fight start: hold block while characters are running in. Even tapping block a couple times to ensure it’s registered. RIGHT as the fight starts, start throwing lights. For me this gets me a light attack success about 75% of the time.

2) inputs during block: Hold block and get away from the opponent. As they walk in, tap the screen as if you are going to light attack but don’t release block. Your character won’t attack, but the Ai will still react to your input. (Don’t use a medium as this will break the block)

Plz reply with your results.

Happened with me several tines on android. Unable to block or dodge many times even after holding bkock.

I’ve been having dropped inputs for parry/dex and things like random heavies, holding block when im not trying to, attacks stopping prematurely mid combo for over a year now

I assume you're aware of the input control problems that Kabam has been working on since last summer. And that they said they were releasing a beta rebuild in March for testing, and that they feel they've worked it out.

Well see. I’m betting it makes the game worst. Just like every update since the issue started

You might be onto something here. I would not discard this option unless KABAM officially states that this is not happening. Having proprietary input reading would be something that could potentially contribute to misregistering inputs problem.
