Magnetism not working vs Vision in AQ Map 7

So I have used red Mags vs both OG Visions in AQ Map 7, both appear to be synthesising power as normal, should it be happening? The second Vision does have a node saying 'power draining is 90% less effective', but as Magnetism is preventing synthesis, not draining power, it shouldn't be effected? Is this a bug?

Thanks @Zan0 I get that, but it is every time, I can't recall it failing, and use Red Mags a lot outside of AQ a lot so know what he can vs OG Vision outside of AQ.

No not that, I know Magnetism doesn't effect the very beginning of fights. Magnetism reduces AA by 70%, so in theory could have been VERY unlucky in the last ten fights vs Vision in AQ, but it feels like it isn't working given synthesis during the fight is never failing (that I can recall anyway).
