Either I am getting old and slow but I swear the AI has a faster recovery time. They hit into my block 5 times and then manage to back off without giving me the chance to retaliate. Also when I knock them down, the AI gets up in 0.001s and somehow light intercepts me. Has anybody else been experiencing this type of AI change? I feel like it's a way to get all the revives and potions back that Kabam has given us because of the problems on their end. It's making the game so unplayable for me right now.

I've had several occasions now where the AI will throw a counter attack or special while I'm in the middle of a 5-hit combo. It tends to go something like M-L-L-SMACKED IN THE FACE

The main thing I have noticed is the AI is way better at special intercepting. You have to be way more careful dashing in to hit the block baiting specials. Better at light intercepting also.

There are times when I go in for a medium attack, but the ai dashes back and then light intercepts me before I can react. Also, as the op mentioned, they seem to recover from heavy's pretty fast and they special intercept wayy more now. So, Backdraft intercept is alot riskier.
To add to that, when fighting the head over heels node, the stun gets purified the moment the timer/counter resets and the ai just recovers instantly. I've had times where I parry - medium but the counter resets in-between animations, the ai recovers in an instant and then intercepts my champion's medium attack.
This isn't helped by the fact that there have been input and lag issues plaguing the game recently.

The AI has gotten damn good at those special intercepts. Can't tell if theyre just randomly throwing em or theyre baiting my dash.

What about AI that hold block or not use SP when something beneficial happened to us? I used CMM the other day in AQ and when I got the binary the AI just hold block until half of my binary charges gone.

Also, when I place power sting the AI just not use SP at all. What is the point of power sting if it is going to expire just like that? I swear some debuffs nowadays is useless.

I’ve been punished a few times after throwing SP3. At least when throwing SP1 and SP2 you get time to see the opponent knocked down and recover, but with SP3 the opponent sometimes seems to have recovered as soon as the animation has ended, and is already dashing in for the attack.

Yesss. I noticed that in AQ7 Groot before the boss. He(it?) was playing incredibly perfect. Quick blocks, quick recovery and dashing back to back while you trying to intercept.

Phew, thought it was just me being rusty as I have been away from the game for a while !
Definitely having to rethink my style of play, can’t intercept like I used to, can dex quick enough, it’s very much a faster AI.
