Immortal Abomination's origins

So I just readed that Immortal Abomintion is basically Rick Jones who an organization named Shadow something got Emil blonsky's DNA in him and Gamma radiation, and then he was transformed into Immortal Abomination. But in the game, his bio tells that someone named General Reginald Fortean wanted to study about Gamma mutation, and then he touched the Abomanation's corpse and was swallowed by it and transformed into Immortal Abomination. So can someone clarify things up? Which story is the right one? Who is the game's Immortal Abomination? Isnt he the same from the comic?

They are both the right story,

Rick was ibom until he was killeded (on space station alpha or something like that and Fortean became him after touching the deaded Rick ibom.

Yes and no. It’s Fortean, but Rick is in there as well (hence the two faces). You should definitely read the Immortal Hulk series. It’s a really good run.
