Rank down day 2022

Hi Kabam,
I know this item appears periodically in the forums, but how about introducing a one day event where players can rank down unlimited characters, either early champs in lower levels who are no longer useful or those mistakes we made that seemed like a good idea at the time.
Either make it a one off or an annual event once a year.
Freshen the game up and players get a chance to really clean up their roster.
Or, some can choose to live with their choices and make no changes.
Could align the event in the calendar where there are no major gold or unit events.

There are multiple game modes where all ranked up champions have a use…or even ones not ranked up do...ie arena. The same reason that Kabam stopped the selling of champs is the same reason rank downs should be a non option. The point of the game to me is to acquire champions and rank them up…all kinds of champions,,,for all kinds of reasons.

Rank Downs are counterintuitive to the point of progress.

Everybody always has that complaint about a rank up choice and they'd wish they can undo it but unless you put in a ticket right away that you ranked up somebody by accident, you got to learn to live with your mistakes unfortunately.

Plus it's funny how so many people would be quick to rank down so many champions because at the moment they aren't anything to write home about and yet a lot of those champions were buffed and suddenly they became everybody's Most Wanted, so you'd really be setting yourself up to have to rank up the same Champion twice if they suddenly go from Zero to Hero.

But as others have mentioned, Kabam has an MO to try and have everyone be useful for something, even if it's a niche, once in a blue moon event.
