There should be a practice mode for bosses

I want to be able to practice against boss fights. I'm specifically thinking about act 6. It sucks having to spend 20 minutes getting through a lane to reach the grandmaster just to practice fighting against him to figure him out. It would be more fun to be able to fight him in a practice mode (much more useful than the current practice area geared towards day one players.) If I could learn him there, practice for a week, I might actually have a shot of clearing 6.4.6. It would also be a blast to test different teams agains different bosses, I'd do that if I didn't have to bore myself to death clearing lanes over and over.

Of course, this mode should have no rewards, it's just there to help the player improve their game experience and skills.

@brownlikebambi I know that part of the challenge is reaching the boss, thats why this mode would have no rewards. Everyone says that the only way to beat the grandmaster is practice, well I'd like to practice. But I can only practice once or twice per day and thats if I even reach him. Do you see my problem?
I think we should be able to practice against them (like we can against any other champion, if we have them.) And then once we actually feel prepared to face him then we will have to face that "part of the challenge."

Yeah I get that it would decrease the challenge but it just seems like a needless bottleneck to me. I think the challenge of the fight is actually fighting the fight, and that would still be present. I have been doing the quest twice a day and getting around 8 or 9 tries. Ultimately I want to play the game, not fight the same 9 characters and single boss for two weeks straight as I repeat the easy path.

Defeat the purpose of video games with a final boss if you have a gateway to practice against the boss as many times as you want. That is the challenge in video games, go thru a whole run and defeat the boss. If you didn’t success, try again.

Well, you could farm units, many units, so you can try and try and try and try :D

@zuffy plenty of games at least have a system where once you get to the boss, the path is cleared and you can try endlessly until you succeed without spending more resources or time. Dark Souls often has save areas right before a boss, in Skyrim you can save wherever you like, in Metal Gear you Respawn right at the boss cutscene. These are some of the most successful games of all time and they have infinite tries against the boss once you reach them. MCOC, on the other hand, puts you at the start of the level whenever you fail. It's just a waste of time, and a boring mechanic.

Lol, @Garlo, I think thats what I'll end up doing. I've slowly been gaining practice and units. Been a massive pain and time-suck.
