Should I r2 6* unduped kitty pryde with my 1-2 generic rank up?

Ik how hard it is to gain generic rank up gems so I just wanted to weigh all my options before I use it.

Eventually you are gonna r2 her and even above.
So , If u have the catalysts but wanna save them for some other champ ...then you should use the gem on Kitty.
If you don't have catalysts but wanna use Kitty , go for the gem.
If you don't have the cats but have a better rank up choice that kitty , Go for that better champ and eventually use your Gem!

Conclusion : Go for the gem on kitty if you don't have catalysts to upgrade her.
