Phoenix Cavalier difficulty

Any good counters, I find her (a boss in 2.1) way more difficult than any other fight in this month's cavalier difficulty which is odd because usually the first 3 or so quests are easy for me. You have to push her past her sp1 (since it removes all the buffs) so she can build enough buffs for you to be able to actually inflict damage (buffed up defender), but that's difficult because you're not able to attack her after she dashes back because of the miss. And when I use champs that can counter miss I take damage so I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I've managed to beat her twice using AA and a couple of revives and just don't feel like 100%ing the chapter because the rewards aren't worth the frustration.

Use anyone who applies heavy amounts of debuffs because they get turned into buffs when she dashes back, but they also need to be tanky. My suggestions would be venom, ultron, hulkbuster and 2 Champs to clear paths. I've completed it without the use of revives twice now and my 6r2 ultron got the solo both times.

Hercules is great because he can deal lots of dps when you deal damage. I hadn’t read the nodes but just forced my way through with r3 herc.

    Might test out sunspot then

Use champs who don't rely on their specials
    I used hit monkey.

When she's at 1%hp quit fight, then finish her with another champ. With this plan she won't regen much

I must admit I really enjoyed that fight ... it's not a hard fight when you understand the mechanics of it. You don't even need a champ who applies a lot of debuffs because the nodes give them to her ... sure it helps speed things up if you do have a debuff champ but still ... I quite enjoyed the skill involved.

Keep an eye on falter because that's what will get you more than anything.

Apoc works pretty good. If you time the sp2 right, you can shut her regen off. Took about 50 hits with my r5.

I used Dr Voodoo a couple of times since he places buffs on phoenix. Apoc worked too, just let her dash back and turn the debuffs into furies

AA worked pretty well. Just get some neuros on her and she goes down pretty fast.

Kitty Pryde is an easy counter, just keep phasing until she dies.
