Battlegrounds Beta Closing Date

Will the beta’s open period be extended, by maybe a day, to make up for this extended outage period? I disagree with those calling for compensation, but I do believe we should get some more time to play test, since we were promised a week to play test. Just curious as to what the current plan is.
