I hop into battlegrounds, find a match, and it’s all going well. Guy picks his defender which first shows CMM then almost instantly switches to Gambit. I think “Gambit, alright, I’ll bring Ultron”
So imagine my surprise when it turns out that my actual opponent is CMM.
Didn’t go well for me.
But it gets better! I get back to the selection screen, a little mad, and see that for some reason, Gambit is banned and he can still pick CMM.
So Professor X pops up as his second defender, and I just throw in Venom.
that doesn’t look like a Professor X too me…
I won this round, and after the fight ended my loading screen bugged out a bit.
So I close the game, generally disappointed in that match. I go back and check the scoreboard to see how badly I lost…
only to find out I won.
Huzzah for me, but anyone want to take a crack at what happened here?
