Considering first Abyss run - current best team?

There has been a lot of additions since the 4 horsemen of the abyss were the best options for clearing the easy path in the Abyss. Has anything changed? Are there now better options? CGR? Colossus w/ Apoc? etc? Just curious who people are using these days.

I would say miles is the best option for abyss, he can solo almost every fight

Aegon is almost a must for most initial runs just because he's Aegon. Doom or Sym Supreme work well as mystic characters. Torch, void and some say Anti venom work as science champs especially torch for mystics. You need an incinerate immune for Mephisto obviously. Nick just destroys Invisible woman and ramps much faster than Aegon does and I suggest bringing in Heimdall just because he saves revives. The Horsemen of the abyss have pretty much remained as the most effective champs for initial clear of the abyss. Some substitutes but that team works for most runs. Simply put I'd say there might be better options for single fights but that team is pretty much the most solid team you can bring for your first run

Not sure Nick Fury is really needed. Especially For Path 1. Aegon can do IW with a few more revives. Seems like Apoc and Stryfe can put in some serious work. It would be interesting to see an updated guide from somebody that really knows the Abyss well.

MSD did an itemless run for the mutant challenge so that's maybe the path to go. As for carina's challengers I'd go the normal path for initial completion

Yes, when the characters become unblockable and miles is invisible he evades all attacks, you just gotta spam heavies to place a taunt, every time the defender uses an sp, miles becomes invisible, he becomes practically immortal.
