Hunting For Apocalypse Tips

Just wanted to get some advice! Been hunting Apoc for 4-5 months now and Domino (no luck in any mutant/metal crystals) as well to build some horseman synergy. I have most variations of horsemen synergies besides Stryfe and Domino. I have been only popping 4 & 5* duals as well. Should I go hit any basic pools or stay with duels? Statistically I feel I should be close to or should have already popped them with the hundreds of 4* duals and every 10k 5* shards. The Cyclops dupes were “fun” but it would be nice to see Apoc. I would love even a 4* Apoc to help clear some content.

Keep an eye out for Apoc/Domino featured arena ig. The rest is entirely based on RNG.

Stop chasing them. Give up all hope.

Shortly after that they will show up where you least expect it...like a cav nexus or basic.

You can hunt all day, but the RNG is gonna do it's thing. Been playing this game since 2016 and only recently got a 5* AA after all this time. Still don't have a white mags above a 4*. Yet this week, after completing exploration of 7.4, I naturally duped 6* Aegon, pulled 6* NF and 6* Nimrod (along with some other very nice champs) all at once. The last couple of years, I stopped waiting for the "big one" and just rank who I need/like to get me through content or to have fun with until the ones I want land. They come eventually, some take longer than others though. Let's hope for more Nexus options in the future to minimize some of the RNG that is out of control with the # of champs in game now.

@Xguard77 honestly that’s a great response lol. Was trying to get CapIW and Doom forever then stopped the mystic/science duals and then got both of them the next week from a couple of basic crystal pulls. I’m officially going to stop chasing them @Kabam- now off to spend some crystal shards.

I got him as a 5* . Maxed him… now just trying to figure out who to use with him. Horsemen are such beasts

Statistically, you are actually getting further away from opening them as the odds of getting a specific character from a crystal are only getting lower as more champs continue to be added. But yeah you're pretty much doing everything right. Your only options are to either open the crystal with the best odds now (the dual class ones) or hoard shards/units and wait for a special crystal where the odds are higher (like a featured). As we exceed 200 champs and growing in the basic pool, the is one area of the game that will eventually have to give in some regard. Dual Class crystal were (and still are to some degree) a fantastic balancing of this issue but at some point they will have to narrow the pool again (Single Class Crystals, Yearly Crystals, something along those lines).
