new april release timing difference for Apple vs. Android

The April release has been out in the apple store for a couple hours now, but doesn't seem to be available yet in the google play store. Its been years since I recall the releases deviating by any noticeable amount of time.

Is this a known issue / any ETA on when it will release?

It happens from time to time. I think it was the update where Bishop got buffed that had iOS waiting for several hours and I remember just desperately wanting to try his update.

As they describe usually, it's not up to them now, but rather up to those store's to make it available

I'm not concerned about this yet, because the actual release timeline for both Platforms is before April 6th at 10am PT (when the new EQ starts). We try to get them out earlier, but that is beyond our control at a certain point. It takes time for each store to propagate and update players to the newest release.

If a store has a bunch of Apps updating on the same day, it could take longer. But again, no reason to worry!
