Incentive to renew sigil

I was wondering if they could give an incentive to people that renew their sigil right away. Currently I let mine expire and renew 5-6 days after it expires essentially giving an extra week. Could they potentially give a sigil based nexus crystal for renewing before it expires? Some extra sigil credits? Either way it currently doesn’t make sense to renew before your sigil expires.
