New control system - difference between champs

I have been running the beta (control system) since it was released for everybody.
I am starting to learn it better and better. Still have some trouble being consistent with most Champs but some champs stand out very negatively …
For example > miles morales today I am having so much trouble to parry with or even block with him( eq uc 1.1 captain Britain & movie marvel) While in the same gaming session I don’t have problems with immortal abom… this baffles me and I do not know where to start with where this difference is originated so I can start to learn to adapt. Has anyone encountered something similar and have you found a solution or is it inherent in the new system ?
