Who here would support if the game had an in game auction service similar to nba 2k?

I think it could be interesting, just like this current beta. Give it a try?

the 2k and madden auction houses are disasters. they work in favor of those who pay to play and bots abuse the system constantly. either way, what system of payment would we use? couldn't be units, whales would clear the auction very quickly and outbid each other past where f2p players can go.

Possibly shards, awakening gems thing of that nature, if you have an abundance. you could use gold to pay, potentially. Just a random thought I had, just thought it could be an interesting dynamic

While the idea might be slightly interesting I have very little faith right now in the ability for Kabam to implement such a system into a game that wasn't not designed for it originally. I would much rather their time and resources go to getting everything currently in the game functional and working the way it needs to be before we go into extra systems like that.

After that, things like Mastery 2.0 and Wish Crystals should probably be higher priorities than other unannounced new systems.

Firstly, I mean, obviously? A game that offers people to play for free but allows those to spend has to favour the payers, or they wouldn't pay and then we don't have a game.

Secondly, you clearly don't like the fact that the game favours payers, so why are you up for an idea that gives almost exclusively spenders an advantage? FTP players won't outbid a spender on any measure of units, and I find the idea of gold being used nice, but incredibly unlikely. Gold is relatively easy to get, I doubt you'll often be able to buy shards, awakening gems etc with it. It's happened once in the game's 7 year history, I don't think it would be made a regular feature

A draft system would be better than Auction.

Battlegrounds is very similar to the “Draft Champs” mode you see in these types of games. The only difference is that champs are banned and you’re limited to who you have in your own roster. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ll give a brief explanation. You’re randomly given 3 “players” who have a rating somewhere between 80 and 99 (99 being the best). You pick a team of players based on who’s currently available in the pool of all players, not who’s on your team. So everyone is given equal opportunity of everyone in the game, not who’s on their roster or team

Only thing I could see working would be auctioning rare crystals/crystals in general. Buy an omega sentinel cav and sell it when she comes off and demand rises? The game economy is super important and in a game like this I could see it going horribly.
