I mean, did you want the extra couple objectives to be ridiculously OP? That would mean a ridiculous jump in rewards for the last couple points, which is not how events like this work.

This will be done 4 times this year, it is minimum 1 R4.

Anyways, wish they wouldn’t remove the 6* shards as you go up in tier. Think that’s a bit silly but I think the rewards are great personally.

Do you mean after the first iteration? Because there will be three more with at least these rewards, so eventually you should be able to get it.

Thronebreakers can't get a single R4 even if we do all 4 EOP coming this year, unless rewards are increased for upcoming EOPs

I did not become Paragon because of this event, and the rewards are fine. Have fun with the challenge.

Just after this one. I’m only short one catalyst for each and I was expecting to get them this round. Unless the rewards are better for later iterations, TBs with only 2 r4s and who have 0 t6b and T3A won’t even be able to get paragon

You do get a class selector thou. Which is also nice. But you won`t be able to use it on featured crystals I guess.

I’m a little confused on the rewards difference between thronebreaker and paragon.

Are there differences in rewards offered, or can thronebreaker not achieve the highest peak milestone (Which I believe is 23 points)?

Its fine for us Paragon players , atleast fine for me , 50 6* sigs would have been a bit better.
But from a thronebreaker's POV , These rewards throughout the year will give them 2 T6B and 2 T3A which isn't enough for one r4 . I guess that's the reason most of the thronebreakers are offended.

If this was the only new source of r4 materials in the whole game, and I was one r4 off from Paragon, I’d be irritated too. But it won’t be. R4 materials (small amounts) are being included in monthly side quests, and the 8.1 beta is currently live meaning that 8.1 is only a few months off. We also don’t know what the real battlegrounds reward structure looks like at this point. Additionally, we have no idea what other content is in production right now. There’s so much else going on right now that pinning all of your expectations to this one piece of content is clearly not a proper perspective.

The one thing that I would have liked to see increased across the board is 6* sig stones. I was hoping for 50, so that across four events, a player could get a champ to sig 200. But 30 ain’t nothing, and there’s 10 more up for grabs in Battlegrounds right now. So life goes on.

Sounds like hypocrisy to me. This isn’t the only source till the end of the year to get to paragon.

I’m sure for those who are close will end up having it after 2 of these events.

I agree. As a paragon, the rewards aren’t too enticing, for TBs as the top- progression at the time, gauntlet or sop was amazing, this doesn’t have that feel for paragon

Yeah of course you can mate, but you didn't just say "the rewards are lame", it seems like you judged the rewards based on whether you could get paragon after them and you're saying the rewards are bad because you can't get paragon from them. That seems hypocritical because you told people not to judge the announcement of paragon because they couldn't get it.

If you say, "Your account won't explode or get deleted if you don't get paragon day 1", why can it not be applied to "your account won't explode or get deleted if you don't get paragon after EoP?

How is it hypocritical? Just because I said that it's okay not to get Paragon on the first doesn't mean that I'm going to 100% support the rewards for any given event. I think these rewards suck because TBs can't even get one of each catalyst which would still be only 1/3 of what you'd need for a 6r4, which would be 1/9th (?) of what you need to get Paragon.

Rewards look good to me. Only people I’ve seen super upset are thronebreakers unable to get paragon from this. But when a deal is valued at 10k units and only gives half a r4 what do you expect? 20k units worth of resources with a class nexus crystal and sig stones? We need to be realistic here

The rewards suck for Thronebreakers. The "year round" excuse falls short when you realise if the rewards are individually bad per session the value falls the further it takes to cumulatively earn them.

1/2 a catalyst a year later is going to be a lot less impactful than 1/2 a catalyst now.
Unless they intend to buff the rewards as it returns (which there's been no mention of) it's going to get stale fast.

Over a year to not even contribute to a 1/3rd of the requirement for the next title is actual trash.

That’s fair. Personally I’m not sure yet. If were only doing 8 fights total, 4 of them single fights then one run altogether, I’m not gonna lie that doesn’t seem like a whole lot of content. This isn’t SoP where we had 9 fights and then 6 runs of 3 fights where one is the grandmaster!

I have a feeling the rewards are consistent with the content, but then my preference would be to have more content, so it’s more of a challenge and we can get more rewards. I think as a flat amount, the rewards seem a little underwhelming. But compared to the relative difficulty, they seem perfectly reasonable.
