Shang Chi needs dupe? If so, does he deserve generic?

I have a 5star Shang chi r5. Does he need dupe. Also shall I use generic considering the other Champs that will need generic from my roster would be nick, herc and Ghost only and I don't have them -_-

    He doesn't need it. Does it help, sure. But save the generic.
