Suggestion for an old school event

Mcoc has progressed a lot through the years and the days when 4* where hard to come by, and even harder to rank, are long gone.

How about an old school event in the style of the first year. You can only use the champs available from back then.

Why tho. People rarely have those champs ranked as there are far better ones and it would just be a pain. the only way I can see this working/being enjoyable is if these champs got boosts like the avengers did with the infinity war event.

Not possible at the present time . Most of the players who began playing in the recent years wouldn't even have them ranked up and would cause a chaos in the community.

Unless Kabam starts providing loads of rank up gems for lower rarities, I don't see the point
Players don't rank up those champs anymore
However I think another Variant that caters to different stars instead of champion tags can be a good idea, unless the champion requirements are very restrictive
Eg. A path that can be done with most of the 4* Mystics is fine, but a fight on that path that can be done only with a 4* Man Thing or Dragonman will be problematic
