Going into 6.4.6! Need help with team

So iam done with 6.4.5 adaptoid, took 4 l1 revives with doom
So how many units should I gather to tackle the quest and help me build a team

Usually a safe amount is 2k units, better to have too many than too little. You want someone that crits often and with easy access to dot. I would take prof X in for the reverse controls to make it easier

So? Fill your over flow until they are going to expire tomorrow and then push the quest. I did it with only stash revives and a handful of big heals. I used doom for most of it and it was much easier than I thought it might be. Doom creates a lot of openings other champs don’t and will make the fight a lot easier. Especially if everyone else is dead. I think I had 5 wounded phases total and the fight was over.

Ok but since the monthly compensation is stopped, I need to grind rol for health potions,
And had decent l4 health potions from solo events,
And with the grandmaster did you end up re doing quest before using revives or just went with it?

Nice to see you at 6.4.6 - I’ve just hit it myself. The team I’m planning to take into the quest (when I get enough revives) is Apoc/Red Mags/ProfX/Doom/Hercules. Seeing your roster, I’d take up the 5* version to 5/65 to help with survivability.

I’m also going to echo the advice about farming revives before taking on GM, which is exactly what I’m going to do.

Iam thinking of the same, he is at sig 20 atm, had 79 cosmic gems, I wish I could give him generics but I want them to be on aegon Or arch when I pull them
And how many revives are we talking about?

It's either farm the health portions and revives or use units. Just autofarm in ROL for health portions. Better to have more to be on the safe side, since July 4th is coming.

Grandmaster is not getting nerfed with the act 6 changes

I think the nerf will make 100% act six easier, and certainly reduce the energy cost of doing so. It will make some Carina challenges easier. But it doesn’t look like it’s going to impact the cost of any grandmaster run! Still plan for an epic duel.

1)less energy:- so players can actually restart fights if something goes wrong
2) Excluding the GM defenders will lose some HP and attack values which makes it more parry friendly or taking block hits
3) champion selector before boss is actually a very big deal. It gives very solid counter option for boss in end while making paths less restrictive and punishing during champ selection

You might not notice but this small small changes affect big things directly and indirectly. Even if GM wasn't touched,this changes gonna make it more easy than before.

Recently completed act 6.4.6 myself and doom worked like a charm. You should also bring in prof x because at least 8/10 of my revives on gm where spent because of inverted controls.
Also, from my experience don’t continue throwing 20% revives at it without healing first as the block damage is enough to take down most champs.
Won’t give a unit estimation because I don’t know what your skill level is, but 300-600 should be good
