Saurons Healing Abilities

Sauron's always active ability says his regen cannot be decreased or increased by outside sources; i have two questions regarding this point;
1. Does this mean the recovery mastery will not improve his regen?
2. Node 50 in Alliance Wars increases regen abilities 150%. Will this node not work for Sauron?

From what I recall and how other champions with similar descriptions interact with rate/potency.

Recovery is a rate modifier so no it should not improve his regen.

Node 50 is a potency modifier so it likely will improve his healing.
