Before I go all in giving my full opinion on the good and the bad currently in the game I want to make it very clear that I have had very few issues regarding the wider input issues, and have continued to progress In the game. I am a free to play throne-breaker who isn’t even close to paragon (which I’ll get to into a bit) but I have completed Act 6 and Act 7, but have not dared touching The Abyss at this point. I just hope that is kept in mine as I give my thoughts.
I have watched over this community for a long time now, I’ve watched you guys make mistakes and make huge leaps but I have never been vocal. And I think I want to start being vocal right now.
I do enjoy this game, I have played it for two years now and have generally enjoyed it. Sometimes the arena feels dull, and some act 6 quests were boring but nothing that was a deal breaker for me. I mostly only heard about the input issues from other people, and I definitely had to empathize with them because honestly if my game was that bad all the time it would be hard not to walk away. At times your communication to us has been spotty but I hope as you continue to work through the bugs of the new input systems there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I have been super impressed with how awesome many of the champs have been this year, from the sick intro of Sauron to the awesome animations of Wong, to what (I hope) you will do with Quicksilver in August. And personally I loved every second of battlegrounds, it brought a new pop of color in what can feel like a dull game at times, it challenged players to grow their rosters and learn how to strategically form decks.
I currently have a few rank 3 6*s and continue to work towards more. As the “chase” for rank 4 has happened I have not really felt that pressure, and honestly I appreciate that. I also appreciate the materials in the side quest now and hope that continues: and hopefully in more plentiful qualities!
I hope the compensation is sick, Quicksilver is amazing, and that this community can continue to grow and mature!
