Agent venom sp1 being blocked mid attack

I have tried with a 3, 4, and 5 hit combo, and the ai has the ability to block or parry the sp1 as in the chain. Happens 9 times out of 10. The only go around is parry, and go right into special. In addition his proc to bleed keeps going down. I have a 5/50 sig 60, and he only procs maybe 25% of the time.
