Act7 100% but don't know if I should use my gem

Hello everyone, I did Act 7 100% but I don't know if I should use my gem to become paragon by ranking up my 3rd R4; I need advice because if I become paragon my calender resets right? I don't want to lose out on the rewards. And also I don't know if the rewards from the compensation will be based on TB being the highest or paragon and I don't want to miss out. Should I just bite the bullet on the off chance that paragon might be the highest progression when it comes the compensation package? I don't if I put this on the right forum as this is my first time writing one. And if anyone from kabam sees this I'd appreciate your feedback as well. Please and thanks.

    Your calendar won’t reset until the end of the month. But you may want to hold off until the July 4 deals drop, to get some from TV and some from Paragon or at least see what’s out there.
