Look at it this way: would you rather have a duped Kitty 5* or a random unduped 6* like Groot or Superior Iron Man? I’d take a 5* duped kitty over 75% of the 6*s out there (even for endgame content).

Precisely. I’d put her in the class of ghost/ quake/ herc. A five star of one of those is still extremely valuable.

The 2021 crystal only has 2021 released champs, and nothing else. With over half of the possible champs being great pulls and only a handful of true duds, it's easily the best 6* pool of any cav crystal.

If it hadn't ben 2 odins' worth of crystals I would've agreed with you, but I don't see any 5* worth that much, regardless of how good the champ is. I would've been much happier opening any one of 15/23 of 6*s, including awakening my Centurion, Sersi or r3 Knull. I'm really not missing anything major as far as 5*s, and would much rather start working on my 6* roster, which has been moving at a snail's pace over the past year.

I was looking specifically for 2 champs in this.
Blew 3300 units on these.
I needed a 5* knull for Carina abyss.
Or a 6* nimrod for my rotten r4 gem from act7.
I have a scarcity of 2021 champs. I was looking for many 6* dupes too.
The list was long what I wanted so it was worth a try even when the odds were obviously against us.
Got one, a 6* overseer which I'm happy about. But he wouldn't change anything in my roster, he will go r3 in future for BGs.
I'm down 40+ dual class searching for 5* knull.
20-22 5* featured when he was in it.

2021 is a great pool of champs. Even the mediocre ones are great in some areas.

Same cost as a featured cav, but with the regular cav rates. Hoping there's a better option next weekend.

Stop crying. Cavs are not the way for roster development and thinking that they are takes away the privilege of complaining about your pulls, because you’re buying your way through the game.
