5-star AG trade-ins available anywhere?

I know the game is going to be moving past 5-stars eventually — some people have been past them for a long time — and that’s totally fine, but I still like ranking ones I like to test and even use.

But like many people, I have kinda run out of places to grab Awakening Gems but have a few extras in some classes that, if I could trade them in for a class that I am out, would be pretty useful.

The game has had that feature before, right? I didn’t imagine that?

If so, was that something tied to a specific event or time of year?

    There has been a 5 star awakening gem trade in *i believe* once in the history of the game. So we have no clue when it will come back if ever.

    That 1 time has everyone hoarding, especially if you got "screwed over"* last time.

    *Some people claimed screwed over because they didn't have enough for the trade-in they wanted once the offer went live and they had just used an AG. Some people did get screwed over because they did a trade-in and got the same class back.

    It was around Christmas last year. I think people have been talking about it’s return but I don’t know if Kabam ever actually hinted at it.
