A Nice Smack in the Face and Worst 4th of July Deals Ever!

Hi,

I have been playing this game for over 5 years. I’m gonna put this simply as to not waste my time or anyone else’s. Deals this year are terrible - because even if i purchase all the offers i will be a little closer to getting one r4 6*. And here is the key: where does a r4 6* benefit me at all?

I also want to mention that Abyss of legends exploration should be some sort of substitution to help achieve Paragon - such a shame and real hard smack in the face that Abyss exploration is completely irrelevant now.

Get you’re stuff together Kabam. What a terrible couple of months this has been.I expect nothing less than a warning or this thread bring deleted. Cheers

    Seeing that Abyss was released after or around the same time TB was announced and being one of the few ways to get to TB, why should it have anything to do with Paragon?

    It doesn't sound like you're very active in the game so why would you expect offers would vault you to Paragon? You're the problem here, not Kabam.

    Pretty sure when you argued that even if you bought every deal, that it wouldn't guarantee you a 6 star, rank four Champion (which is a key requirement for Paragon) and also when you specifically stated that "Abyss of Legends exploration should be some sort of substitution to help achieve Paragon"...

    If your intention is not to jump to Paragon anytime soon, then it wouldn't be come up in this discussion whatsoever, however it's been the linchpin of your arguments, whether by intention or not. And if you just want to rank four a champ, ultimately everybody goes at their own pace to get there but if you're not willing to clear all content that rewards those materials, then you're stuck because you're not going to just wake up one morning and have them gift wrapped on a silver platter.

    Hmmm. Don’t you need 3 six star r4 for Paragon? I might be confused lol. I don’t care about Paragon, and am very frustrated with the direction the game has taken. Sorry if my comment was confusing, but my main issue with the offers is that they are geared toward helping individuals very slowly get a 6* r4, and the value of catalysts declines significantly over time (that’s not even considering when 7*s arrive). It’s amusing how you guys are so head heavy about “Paragon”. Thanks for your feedback :)

    You literally brought up Paragon on your OP. You think abyss should help you get Paragon. Offers aren't a substitute for doing the work for title achievements. You can't get Paragon on offers alone.

    You still have to do act 7, which has a guaranteed R4 for 100%. I honestly don't know what the point of your post or even the point of the comment I am quoting is.

    If you want me to list out my issues here they are (was trying to keep this simple, but here’s some constructive feedback):
    1) I remember when 4 *s and 5*s became irrelevant, so why am i gonna spend hundreds of $ on ranking a 6* to r4?
    2) The fights and even just reading the nodes in monthly event quest AND story mode take too much time out of my day to the point where i have to make decisions about telling my friends to be quiet while we’re hanging out cause I’m trying to wrap up some fights in MCOC. - I do like quickness and benefits of EOP
    3) Several alliances I have been have leaders and officers that are on power trips that will boot you if you don’t do what they say and they don’t respect your time.
    4) Sometimes I get an In-game bug and have to spend resources to continue completing content.
    5) Due to the items fore mentioned, spending a significant amount of $ is not a worthwhile investment for me to obtain a small amount of resources to get closer to a 6* r4

    1 R4? You’ve been not clearing content despite playing for 5 years… and you expect the deals to get you to Paragon?

    Exploring Abyss will help you get Paragon if you pair it with Carina's challenges like what I'm doing. I just need 1 catalyst of each and I'm done for my 3rd.

    5. So don't spend the money. If cash or unit offers won't greatly benefit you, don't buy them. Also, not constructive feedback.

    Because he probably doesn't spend as much as you do. You could have been here from day 1 and still not be paragon now. I have been around the same time as him, all contents are explored 100% including Abyss and I'm not paragon...a few t3a fragments away from my 2nd r4. A every paragon player at this point in the game is a spender, most likely heavy and/or grind arena like crazy! I spend occasionally but not enough to get me paragon, I have one carina v2 challenge and will have my 2nd r4 and a bit towards my 3rd. I don't what you're saying here
