Are Relics still going to be a thing?

Are Relics still coming into the game? Or has that idea been shelved with all the problems going on currently?

I'm good with either. Having nothing to chase for will make playing this game meaningless. But if ever they introduce 7*s, I hope the scaling won't be the same as how they did 6*s. Also, an additional ability to pair like a second awakening or additional abilities only available for 7*s might be cool than just the same old champion with different stats.
