Game crash and horseman abyss has gone

I am just working through abyss and have got to red skull, game crashed and stryfe lost his horseman ability and I can not Reapply it.

Anyone know how to rectify this or do I have to literally start again.

    No, you just finish without the horseman crossfight

    If you need Stryfe to be a horseman, then you’ll have to restart. While it sucks, I’d say at the point you’ve reached you’re better off just powering through without the Horseman status.

    This bug has been around since Apoc has been in the game. It's not something new. Also, it's not absolutely necessary for Stryfe to have for Abyss

    That's why I forced closed and restarted the app before every new fight for the Mutant challenge.

    Does the horseman matter? I never put it on stryfe because i wanted apoc for fights, did i make a mistake
