vigorous assault path, bring a havok counter

One of the easiest path is the Arc Overload path if you have a good mystic that can deal with it and a counter for Havok (anyone who has a reliable armor up). For the boss, technically, anyone can do it but it's better to rely on champions who aren't dependent on their special attacks for damage because of Plague Mind that will drain your power every few seconds. Also, don't fire the same special attacks consecutively or you'll take a big chunk of damage. Sentinel is pretty beefy and with stun immune, parry heavy champions like CMM won't be reliable as you'll find it hard to topup your binary charges. I used Void but general offensive champions like Stealthy, Starky, Herc, Corvus, etc. will work really well against Sentinel. It's gonna be a long fight.

    What's your roster looking like?

If I were you, I'd bring:

Guillotine 2099 (take down Moon Knight with an SP3 to get a soul charge for Havok, remember to parry heavy a few times to gain combo shield. Against Havok parrying might be a little iffy since his dash attack is projectile unless you can reparry, I'd suggest baiting him to a heavy attack by blocking, dash back, and then heavy. If you find this hard then just play safe. It's okay if your combo falls off, don't panic. You'll eventually get your combo again.)
Doctor Voodoo (he can nullify the armor up and regen from Arc Overload except for Groot because of Mystic Ward)
Venompool (cook an Energize buff and a Klyntar Buff while spamming SP1s when Arc Overload is up)
Falcon (He can help against the Sentinel boss. Even unawakened, he can still give some fair damage. Always apply your Lock-on)
Kitty Pride (despite the class disadvantage, if you play her well she's a really safe option against Sentinel. Boost up to cancel the class disadvantage. You'll get his Analysis charge up to max faster because she's a mutant making his attacks unblockable but Kitty can just phase them for extra damage)

G2099, Kitty, Falcon, and even Venompool will help a lot against the boss.
If you can rankup Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced) at least to an R4, he can really help a lot against Sentinel (boss). Just dex a few attacks to charge up your taunt and end combos with a medium to not spend it. He has a really good damage especially when ramped up. His evade will even save you if you make a mistake trying to dex Sentinel's special attacks.
Another decent option is Hyperion but since yours is not awakened yet, it'll be slow.
Also, Quake... 100%... if you can play her.

Apocalypse will definitely help you a ton in the future but for this quest he's not really good against Sentinel... because robot. Lol. But you can bring him and swap Falcon or Kitty to help with the Arc Overload path. You can ramp him up on Wolverine (Instant 4 charges) but it might be a little annoying since he has no counter against the heal or the armor up except for his big daddy damage.
