Event Quest - Exploration Bundle Pop-Up? Duration? Cavalier - Uncollected?

Confusing title, I know. I am also confused.
As far as I know, we get an exploration bundle when we complete the corresponding event quest difficulty.
When I completed the cavalier difficulty, I got nothing. A friend of mine got the three bundle offers (1000 units) for 8 hours. But offer didn't pop up, he had to find it in the main screen.
He completed the uncollected difficulty and got the uncollected bundle (700 units).
Just now, I completed the uncollected difficulty and I got the Cavalier exploration bundle for an hour.
Is it just random or something wrong?
