Item Use in AW (and possibly AQ)

I’ve noticed a couple of times during the current AW season that it shows I’ve used 1 or 2 items when I haven’t used any revives or health potions, only boosts. I didn’t think boosts counted against items used. Also, it doesn’t seem to count each boost used but perhaps just the times I’ve boosted. And it doesn’t appear to happen consistently - some wars correctly show no items used. Finally, I’m fairly certain this also happened once in the last round of AQ. I don’t tend to need to use many revives or health potions, but I could see this having an impact for some players.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
