Wong/IMIW synergy

I pulled Wong as a 6* and was looking over his synergies and noticed the one with Iron Man IW giving him the incinerates instead of energy damage. Seeing as they only stack to 5, wouldn’t you be loosing out on damage? Or is it only there to grant incinerate effects like reduced block proficiency. Do you guys think it’s worth running?
