The word Trading=banned?

So I was talking to one of my friends about how he received a 5 star and it was a good one. I had mentioned that its too bad you can't trade champions of the same star and rank since I also have a couple same rank 5 stars and one SUCKS. He told me that if you mention "trade" you will get banned. What's with that? And why don't we have a feature for that? I know gifting champions was taken away because people had abused the power. But, if you had a strict trading system such as they have to be the same star and rank. I feel like a lot of people would like that. But since saying trade may get you banned was there also some sort of event that they had trading and it just went downhill fast? I've only had the game for about a year and half so any events before that I either don't know or I just get from my friends.

    The chat filter in game is RnG, I think. It just filters random words here and there when it feels like it lol.

    There was never a system that allowed players to gift champions (besides crystals).
    Mentioning a trade system doesn't penalize you at all, that's stupid.
    Since this was already been suggested a lot of times, the answer is NO, it wouldn't be a good idea and people don't want that to happen
