So did we ever get any resolution or message regarding the scoring failure for AW last season?

The last message I heard was that “they had identified the problem and it won’t happen again” that they mentioned in an obscure thread. Where was the formal announcement on what happened? How was this mistake made? What’s being done to make sure AW isn’t broken again next season?
