4* in late game content?

Hey there,

I have just picked the game back up after a 3-year pause… Let‘s see how long it sticks this time… :)

My question: What 4* champs would you consider viable in late game content, if you don‘t have a 5* or 6* version of it?

I am a Cavalier and don‘t see myself going for thronebreaker anytime soon, let alone Paragon (only have five 5* at R5, all 6* are R1…) That‘s why I say late game, not end game…

I am thinking about champs like Ronan: Chain stun agains opponents with some buffs is so valuable!!!

Any other champs that come to mind, where you would actually use a 4* instead of your 5* or 6* roster?

Happy to discuss… :)

(PS: I am asking, because I am sitting on a 4* +99 Sig stone, and am wondering who to give it to… Ronan is at Sig 40, so it would feel like a waste to use it on him…)

CAIW for utility and block proficiency. Also if you can get Apoc horseman any mutant and it’s a great time.

Thanks for the input! All of the champs make sense!

Hadn‘t thought of Archangel who I don‘t have as a 5/6*… my 4* is sig 99, maybe should bring him to rank 5.

Quake is great for non-contact… Still practicing on mastering her playstyle though… ^^

What are the perks of Herc and Heimdall? Any specific abilities that can cheese through certain scenarios?

And yes, Act 6 and above doesn‘t allow 4* champs… But still useful for Cavalier difficulty of the monthly event quest…

    Thanks, this is very helpful!

But I have to say, when considering pure damage output, I guess any 4* will be overshadowed by a 5* at Rank 5… I mean, even if 4* herc gets +120% attack, that’s something like 2800 attack, right (no suicides)? Most 5* will have something like 2700 from the beginning, plus the extra damage mechanics that most champs have…
