Possible balancing? I can’t be the only one

Alright friends!

So I just wanted to bring this up to see if I was the only one that was feeling this or if there was a wide variety of people that felt the same as me. It seems like recently there has been a heavy drive for new champions, which is awesome, don’t get me wrong; however, with the constant release of old champions and making them more defense oriented for wars and later versions of the story quest, so many of the original champions seem to have been left in the dumps like last year’s jack-o-lanterns.

I would like to preface this by saying that I do not have a huge amount of experience fighting against the most recent champions, I am just going off of what I’ve been able to gather on my readings through their descriptions at the start of fights.

Some of these new champions have been able to introduce really interesting abilities that changes up the rhythm of fights, that way it isn’t “parry, combo, repeat” the entire way through a story quest. Thor (Ragnarok) and his potential to block and intercept attack and Medusa and her “Living strands” ability to initiate a block mid combo are prime examples of changing up the game in a positive way and I think it’s great!

As I mentioned earlier, though, there are so many champions that people don’t even use any more (I’m guessing) just because they don’t offer any sort of beneficial impact to a super high powered enemy. Some of the first ones that come to mind for myself are: Black Panther, Captain America, Colossus, Daredevil (both of them), Iron Fist, Iron Man. Maybe it’s just me but these champions, possibly some others seem hopelessly outmatched compared to so many of the newer champions.

It’s possible that the newer champions could stand being brought down maybe a notch or two...but I think some of the more original champions to the game could desperately use a remodel.

I think there should also be a larger number of champions should be immune to a few other “damage over time” effects. It doesn’t make any sense to me at all that ghost rider isn’t immune to incinerate...his head is literally on fire and he still gets burned?? And electro gets affected by shock?? How is that possible?

Thanks for taking your time to look at this!!

OG daredevil is a very powerful champion when he’s at a high signature level. The ability to auto evade projectiles is very handy at things like WS sp2 or punishers sp2. He’s great as he is (maybe he has a slightly weaker attack but that’s what you trade for auto evading projectiles)
