Suicide content and Arena grind.

So i comeback to the game after a very long time, so now my 2 stars are useless in arena (of course this event was helpful but i dont think it will happen soon again) so my first question is, What rarity star champions should i upgrade to start the arena grind? My four stars? Or i should i just upgrade my 5 stars, i still dont have any 6 stars. And my second question is in what content the suicide masteries are absolutely unusable? Because id like to get the masteries but i don't want to keep wasting my runes with this weird system that kabam implemented. So yeah help me with what champions should i focus on the arena grind and what content should i not use the suicide masteries.

Depends on what you want from the arena. If you want to grind for new champs, then you should upgrade your 5* roster. They get more points, which is exactly what you need in the basic and featured champ arenas.

If you grind for units and gold, then the 4* arena is a better grind IMO (like “Summoner Trials”). More units, gold and battle chips for the same amount of fights. Also you can use the 4* champs every 2 hours (5* only every 7 hours).

And as for the suicide masteries: They are great for arena… You win the fights faster, thanks to the higher attack rating and your Champs also have a higher PI, which should give more points per fight (not so sure on this one).

There’s not really any content where suicides are unusable. Just be careful in longer fights with champs that require a lot of special attacks and don’t have any mechanic to mitigate recoil… (like regeneration for example)

I might have to correct myself on the arena-question. I just did the math and it seems that the Basic Champ arena is also not bad if you have a large enough 5* roster:

Here is my assumption:

150 fights (streak 50) with 4* champs in the Summoner Trials get me:
- 1.5 Million points
- 130 units
- 13.500 battle chips
- 51k Gold
- 14.800 premium shards
- There are more units, battle chips and shard to be earned, since milestone rewards go up to 4.4 Million
- Rank reward: 500 4* and 1000 3* shards

150 fights (streak 50) with 5* champs on the basic arena get me:
- 4 Million points
- 135 units
- 16.750 battle chips
- 30k Gold
- 6.000 Grandmaster shards
- There are no more units, battle chips and shards to be earned, since 4 Million is the last milestone
- Rank reward: 500 5* shards

So do with that information what you want…
