When removing a prominent feature from over the past few years adequate information should be included in the forum post, the post was vague and didn't give enough details, extremely bad for Kabams rep

It doesn't explain what's gonna replace it properly, how we'll obtain the new crystals, what's gonna happen to lesser gifting crystals, etc.

Well lets see lets call it a "Holiday Crystal"..
Probably worth 300 units that u buy FOR YOURSELF, that will have the same contents or better of the GGC... And a "Lesser Holiday Crystal".. and obtain.. probably the exact same way..
The only BIG CHANGE, is that u wont be able to send to someone else... Its not hard.. and its 4 months away...

The alternative was they just wait until December to announce it?

They are doing exactly what the community has been clamoring for - more frequent communication. I don’t see any issues here. They said they are still working on the details and we’ll get more info when it’s available. Works for me.
