Who are good options for defence? (Gold 3/Silver 1)

We are currently playing in tier 12.. Silver1 or Gold 3 level wars. Following are my R1 champs. Any suggestions for good defenders to rank which would be helpful for even higher tiers? If possible please also help with a bit of explanation.
