Does AA shut off Matador node in EOP?

I'm trying to finish up EOP X-Force, but am having a terrible time where I won't gain power with AA after Kraven uses his special. Plus am I running into where my heavy attack won't convert the Riot node and he staying unstoppable even if I use a heavy on him...any thoughts?

Yes, this can happen. You kinda need RNG to work out the right way for you with AA. He can be an excellent option but it will likely take a number of tries to make it all work out. You basically want to get him in a state where he isn't unblockable or unstoppable and then keep enough Neuro on him to shut down all his abilities. AA is a good option while it's super inconsequential to reset the quest but I don't think I would use him for Week 5.

Speaking of AA: what's the interaction between him and Disorient? In theory he's immune to having aac reduced by opponent's skills. The disorient in this fight clearly does reduce it though as he's, for example, unable to parry stun with a few of those on. Does that mean that placing debuff on him work, or is it because technically placing disorient on block is a node and not opponent skill? Or is it a bugged interaction?

First off, AA is a bit of an older champ and most of these debuffs/passives didn't really exist at the time so AA's interaction with them is inconsistent. My interpretation is that effects like debuffs or passives are supposed to be able to alter AA's ability accuracy. It's character's like OG Black Widow or Gwenpool who alter ability accuracy by their own specific abilities, that don't affect him. When Awakened Gwenpool has a combo of 50+, her champion abilities are reducing ability accuracy by 100%. AA should be immune to this. When a Concussion or Disorient debuff/passive is on AA, it's not the champion's abilities that are reducing ability accuracy, it's the debuff/passive that is doing it. AA should not be immune to this. Like I said though, I don't believe that the consistency of this is perfect. It's very much a test and find out kind of thing.
