Champs randomly releasing blocks in AQ?

It has been a solid month that I feel I'm holding down block, and my champs just release it mid-combo. It's honestly VERY annoying and several of my alliance members are experiencing the same thing. Is it just me that's crazy or are any of you experiencing similar things? I also have experienced where my champ randomly dashes forward without me even swiping AT ALL. Very weird, I've been playing for over 2 years and only in this last month have I been experiencing this.
I also feel it has been happening in AQ. No idea why.
