Did something happen to arena crystals?

What's with arena crystals since the new update it doesn't matter how many get opened all you get is gold

    It happens to me sometimes :/ all I get is golds when that happens.

    I got 225 units from 5 uncollected crystals recently but otherwise this is the worst run I have ever had. Part of this is because I took a chance on Thronebreaker crystals with 1 million chips and got completely screwed. But since then I've had almost nothing from 500k or so from uncollected other than the one good pull and a couple of 75 unit pulls. All that said, it's a bad run. Nothing has changed.

    I opened 1 regular arena crystal after I saw your post and got 15 units sooooo I disagree.
