BGs Defenders suggestions

Hey guys, I'm facing really good people with awesome rosters and I was wondering which defender are you struggling against the most ?

Just got P1 but i feel like without more good defenders champ it's gonna be pretty hard to grind more

Peni. Fury. Sauron and hulkling. Sauron and peni because they are difficult. Furu and hulkling because they eat up a lot of time

I usually for with bwcv for hulking and it's pretty fast, also for sauron got nimrod counter, obv need to pick them if can but yh I agree

There a 3 ways to score points so I like to break it down that way and look for abilities that make it difficult to score points in 1 or more categories.

Attacker Health Remaining - Damage back abilities are really good (Korg, Killmonger), Specials that can't or are difficult to dex (War Machine, Punisher 2099, also champs that might punish you for using dex/dashing back like Mojo), Can't Intercept (Kitty Pride, Hulk Ragnarok), "unavoidable" DoT (iBom, Mephisto. If you don't have the right immunity, it is impossible to KO these defenders without taking damage from their DoT)

Defender Health Remaining - Regen (not going to list lol), Damage Mitigation (Man-Thing - can't crit, Invisible Woman - shield, Korg - Rock Stacks, anyone with Indestructible), Big Health Pools (Sassy, King Groot, Apoc)

Fight Duration - Basically all of the above + Immortality (Herc, iHulk), Unstoppable (Thing, The Champion), SP1 reliance and duration (Apoc for duration, Mangog for not wanting to see SP2)

This is far from comprehensive and I wasn't particularly trying to list the best defenders, just examples of champs who have a specific ability that seems to provide good defensive value even when their countered to some degree.

The biggest difference in this game mode from other modes is that we used to most highly value champs who did something the best or the easiest because we often have the benefit of accessing our entire roster and knowing what fights we have to overcome. Battlegrounds doesn't work that way. Your roster is way more limited, your draft limits it even more. Having access to many of these abilities goes way further than simply being the best at one or two.
