After 10 months

It's been 10 months since the last Variant was released. Are there any plans on releasing Variant 9 any time soon (hopefully this year)? I understand that the delay might be to focus on other pieces of content or maybe to reinvent the meta of Variants (similar to how Variant 5 was a bit of reinvention), but still it'd be nice to know what's up with Variants?

    What I'd like more is balancing of variant difficulty with rewards.

    Variant 1 still stands out as an outlier. I think it's time for a bit of rebalance there.

    Just like alliance rewards get updated, some special single player content rewards should be updated as well and everyone should be allowed to have a go at it again.
