New BG bug or am I missing smth ?

So basically he drafted peni as a defender and I went for mole man, sometimes auto block was triggering (notice that I didn't went into frenzy mode and had only like 1-2 charges the whole fight)

The thing is, when peni actives her auto block during my combo, I'd still take few damages without her actually blocking my hits 🧐🤔

    Ikr but during her auto block she didn't block any of my hit (i can keep hitting her) but if I do i take damage. Also had the message "ability failed" on my side of the screen everytime I hit her

    Yeah, Peni can’t parry you during her autoblock so she’s able to keep blocking and you are able to keep hitting her block. Then she’s power burning you, which is where the damage comes from (if she gets 5 armour up buffs from the node you could also have some damage from there).

    The ability failed call out is from your true accuracy failing, because of the -100% ability accuracy on your true accuracy passive

    It persists for 2 second, you can see a timer with a light blue icon.
    Hitting her while that icon is active drains power, hence the damage.
    It isn't specified but it works like that.

    Ability fail is the true strike working against you.

    I have fought many peni in BGs using moleman.
    Only Perry heavy and activating sp2 instantly after taking a block hit to trigger unstoppable.

    Yh I also won the fight but it made me think I was doing smth wrong ty for explaining
