Birthday Luck or 7* Shards

Hey All, I am at a dilemma and would appreciate others opinions. I have been saving my 6* shards for a few months to be able to open 30 6* crystals on my birthday in October. However, we now know that 7* shards are being released in November. I have done some math and with my current 6* roster, I should expect about 5K 7* shards from opening 30 6* crystals (given the same shards per dupe as 5*s). So if you were me would you believe in birthday luck and open the 30 6* crystals or wait until November to get 7* shards?

    Although we're only assuming 7* basic will cost 10k shards. We don't actually know yet
