With the 8.1 boss, if you die while in phase 3 the fight forces you to fight as if she is in phase 4 (must hit with specials while having prowess effects active. This issue is that once you hit 5% she switches phases and (despite basically already being in phase 4) her armor resets, meaning you have to essentially do the phase twice in one go, requiring you to build up double the amount of prowess effects you would normally need to finish the fight. This also for some reason makes both her special 1 and special 2 place traps at the same time until you get her below the 5% threshold.

It’s a niche situation but whenever it does happen (especially when going for 100% with the stun reflect) it’s very costly and difficult to deal with since you’re essentially doing the most difficult part of the fight twice.
